CANCELLATIONS
Saturday Cricket
For Saturday cancellations, if you think the weather is marginal please check the HCA Facebook page. Cancellations will be posted by 7:45am Saturday morning on both HCA Facebook page and HCA website. After 7:45am teams will need to communicate with each other to see if cricket is able to be played.
Wednesday & Friday Cricket
For games played on Wednesday afternoons and Friday Evenings, notification of cancellation is done via schools and clubs. Schools and clubs have requested that notification of cancellations are confirmed no later than 1:00pm on the day. HCA acknowledge that any weather deterioration later in the afternoon creates some uncertainty as to whether the game will be played. HCA recommend the best policy is to check with your coach or manger. Alternatively, arrive at the venue prepared to play.
DEFAULTS
Any defaults must be notified to the opposing team and NDCA competitions@ndca.co.nz (Competitions & Communications Administrator) by the Thursday evening preceding the match.
