Cricket for Everyone
Welcome to Hamilton Cricket! Where players of all ages and abilities come together to enjoy the great game.
About the Association
Built on Community
Hamilton Cricket Association has been the heartbeat of cricket in Hamilton for generations. We're committed to growing the game at every level - from Friday juniors taking their first steps on the pitch, to senior players competing at the highest regional grades.
Whether you're picking up a bat for the first time or returning to the crease after years away, there's a place for you here.
1899
Formation of the First Association - as more clubs popped up across the area, the initial Hamilton Cricket Association was formally organised in September 1899 to oversee local club competitions.
1975
Establishment in Modern Form - in 1975, the Hamilton Cricket Association was re-established in its modern structure. This allowed the city of Hamilton to field its own independent representative team. Hamilton remains unique as the only Hawke Cup team representing solely an urban city area rather than a wider rural/regional district.
